ILE CHAMBOD-MERPUIS
Clear waters in an exceptional setting, 20 hectares of nature on the banks of the river Ain and a navigable stretch of water of 15 km2, this is the marvellous site of the Chambod-Merpuis island. Created in the 1960s by the construction of a dam, this island offers a haven of preserved nature and activities for all! Cycling, hiking, pedal boats, paddles or yoga... Everyone will enjoy themselves on the water or on land. An interpretation trail, accessible to people with reduced mobility, allows you to walk around the island and discover the remarkable sites of the upper Ain valley.
