BERNARD GONNET ÉMAILLEUR
Bernard Gonnet is an enameller and metal decorator based in Lescheroux. Born into a family of blacksmiths and farmers, he developed his passion for enamel in 1970. He uses various traditional techniques such as cloisonné, champlevé and full enamel, as well as resources from glass and ceramics. His creations include paintings, vases, sculptures and bowls, each a unique piece. Bernard Gonnet's enamels are exhibited at the Galerie du Canal in Limoges, in the Talents d'Ateliers d'Art de France boutique in Paris, and in his studio in Lescheroux (by appointment only). He also organizes enamel workshops. His work can be found in the collections of museums such as Musée des Pays-de l'Ain, Musée de Pierre de Bresse, Musée des beaux-arts de Limoges and Musée de Ravenstein in the Netherlands.
