CHURCH OF OUR LADY
Church sheltering numerous art objects, in particular Our Lady of Montluçon, an Adoration of the Magi, a Saint John the Baptist.
Dominating the medieval city, of Gothic style, but with some Romanesque reminiscences in the transept and an absidiole. Built under the order of Louis II of Bourbon, the interior houses numerous works of art dating from the 15th to the 17th century. Two stone statues can be admired: Saint John the Baptist carrying the lamb, and Christ awaiting his torture. In the nave, a 15th century pietà, from the school of the Avignon sculptor Jacques Morel, is considered a major work of Bourbonnais heritage. To the right of the choir, a statue of Notre-Dame de Montluçon.
