Take a seat on the terrace shaded by a two-hundred-year-old lime tree, or in the large, medieval-style rooms of a 15th-century mansion, to savor specialties prepared with quality local products. Buffets include a sweet galette de Pérouges, duck leg from Bobosse, and artisanal ice creams. Medieval hypocras with Pérouges honey, organic lemonade, Bugey wines. Groups of up to 100 welcome.

Le restaurant propose des gaufres. Nous demandons 6 gaufres à emporter, on nous refuse le tout (sans donner de raison et d'une manière désagréable), probablement car à emporter n'était pas assez rentable pour eux alors que nous avions pris 6 verres de vin chaud un peu plus tot dans la journée dans ce même restaurant. Vraiment dommage pour un restaurant dans une si belle cité.

J’avais réservé. Le restaurant était censé être ouvert comme indiqué. On arrive, et tout est fermé…Pas cool du tout !

Un accueil ( si on peut l’appeler comme ça…) très désagréable. On s’installe en terrasse pour boire un verre et manger une part de galette et la première chose que nous dit l’aimable serveur est : je vous préviens s’il pleut vous rentrez pas à l’intérieur, on est en plein service, l’ambiance est posée…
Vin chaud moyen, galette sèche et même l’encaissement n’est pas aimable… bref, cet établissement a la chance d’être bien placé c’est son seul atout.

One of the landmarks of the Pérouges as well, as there are few comparable concurrences around. The atmosphere was pretty chill but things can definitely be better organized. Some waiters are very friendly, some work in a very quick pace to follow the turnover. The cups are not very clean. Hope that the next time the service could be better.
