On the other side of the Saône, opposite the center of Mâcon, Villa St Lo is the new hangout for those who swear by meat. Created in May 2023 by Jean-Pierre de Paoli, with chef Sylvain Escalier at the helm, the restaurant boasts a beautiful terrace and an unobstructed view of the river, with a decor blending wood and metal. But the main attraction is the themed menu, with a clear focus on meat products. Marrow bones, rib steaks, beef tartar, kidneys, ribs, lamb mice and sweetbreads are the stars of the menu.
