VEGETABLE GARDEN, CONSERVATORY ORCHARD - MUSÉE DU REVERMONT
A conservatory orchard in the heart of the village of Cuisiat, bearing witness to ancient varieties and cultivation practices.
This garden was created in 1986, in the heart of the village of Cuisiat, by the Musée Départemental du Revermont, a museum set up in the rehabilitated former school-hall, to bear witness to ancient varieties and cultivation practices. Nearly 650 local varieties of curious or fragrant plants are grown in the conservatory orchard and vegetable garden in accordance with the standards of organic farming: old or unusual vegetables, fragrant plants, various apple trees, rose gardens, etc.
