CHÂTEAU DE LOYES
This castle has a French garden, an English garden with a water mirror, statues on a medieval motte castrale.
The castle of Loyes was built in 1740 for Baron Gabriel Dervieu de Villieu. Its red bricks do not fail to catch the eye, as well as all its parts now classified as historical monuments. Note that the park was designed by André Le Nôtre, the Sun King's gardener, and then created by his nephew. A French garden, an English garden with a water mirror, statues and a medieval castle mound are all reasons to set off to discover a building that perfectly marries the plant elements.
