LE FESTIVAL D'ALBA
In 2018, the Alba festival celebrated its 10th anniversary. This festival was founded by Alain Reynaud, clown and director of the Cascade, house of clown and circus arts, national centre for circus arts located in Bourg-Saint-Andéol. For the occasion, Alba spreads its tracks from the medieval village to the ancient city, under a tent and in the arena. On the program: acrobatics, juggling, clowns, magic, initiation workshops... And surprises! Restaurants and mobile kiosks are part of the celebration and bring local dishes to the adults.
La Cascade is one of the founding members of the Territoire de cirque network, an association created in 2004 that brings together nearly 30 production and distribution structures with a particular focus on contemporary circus forms. These members - convention-based stages, national stages, heritage sites and production sites dedicated to the circus arts - form a structured national network to create a space for consultation and action, both nationally and internationally.
