Film-loving volunteers run this festival, which shows first films and short films from different countries.

If Aubenas celebrates comics, Annonay is involved in cinema. Its international festival is one of the major film events in the region, with some 50 feature films, a dozen new films and short films from around the world. Numerous volunteers participate in the realization of this cultural event which recomposes the new cinema and attracts more than 20 000 spectators per year. The festival celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2023, ready for a new decade!

le festival se déroule principalement dans le cinéma mais aussi au théâtre d'Annonay, quelques projection ont lieu dans les cinémas de villages environnant.
Les diffusions au théâtre valent le détour pour le cadre (théâtre à l'italienne restauré)

J'a pu assisté à la projection du film "Lumière ! L'aventure commence " en présence d'un responsable du musée lumière de lyon. Ce fût un super moment de pouvoir échanger sur le film et sur l'histoire des frères Lumières.

Lors du festival, il est aménager un bar éphémère dans la cours de l'école des Cordeliers. Chaque année, ce bar est décoré selon le thème. C'est très sympa et idéal pour échanger avec les artistes autour d'une bière locale :)
