ST. PETER'S CHURCH
Church founded in the 12th century by the monks of the abbey of Saint-Chaffre.
This church is dedicated to Saint Peter, apostle of Jesus. Founded in the 12th century by the monks of the abbey of Saint-Chaffre (Haute-Loire), it underwent several alterations in the 14th century. The facade with its two-arched bell tower dates from the 19th century (1828). Of the three bells, the smallest was donated by the parish of Saint-Maurice-en-Chalencon. Inside, you can admire the apse, three large windows, as well as the central nave surrounded by four chapels. One is cross-vaulted and the others are barrel-vaulted.
