ALPHONSE GURLHIE ART BRUT GARDEN
Garden of raw art arranged to present the work of Alphonse Gurlhie in Chandolas, with 4 animal statues.
This garden of art brut was created to present the work of Alphonse Gurlhie whose statues were made to be seen from the outside. This is how the idea of the garden in front of the house of artists and craftsmen of Chandolas was born, on the fringes of the local association Pépit'art. 4 animal statues and a representation of Gurlhie are exhibited on the site. Gurlhie (1862-1944): Ardèche fishing net maker, facetious and naive artist.
