CHÂTEAU DE LA SELVE
The castle, located on the banks of the Chassezac, the main tributary of the Ardèche, will become a farm in the midst of a strong house and then a hunting relay of an illustrious family of Vivarais. Today led by Benoît and Florence Chazallon, the estate of 40 hectares, planted with 5 different varieties, in red, grenache, syrah, cinsault and cabernet sauvignon and, in white, viognite, is grown in organic, with Ecocert certification in 2008. A rosé is vinified in each range, the Audacious, I.G.P. Coteaux of Ardèche, direct pressing, syrah 50% syrah, 35% grenache, 10% cinsault and 5% viognite, I.G.P. Coteaux de l 'Ardèche, direct pressuring, 50% grenache, 30% cinsault, 20% syrah and a viognite tear, in that of the classics. Today six Gîtes de France, from 3 to 6 people, housed in a wing of the castle, in the middle of a large tree park, offer a haven of peace in the heart of the tourist Ardèche.
