A stronghold on the old road to the Pont d'Arc, the Roure castle-museum keeps the memory of the Wars of Religion and the Camisards revolt. This 15th century building houses documents, books and royal orders, weapons and old tools. You will discover the room where the Duke of Rohan would have slept, in 1629, after having fought in Salavas. A museum presents the stages of silk work, from the thread to the fabric in the heart of a local industry which employed the Huguenots who were expelled from public jobs.
