Situated on the banks of the Besorgues river, the Moulin de Charrier campsite and inn offer the promise of an authentic and relaxing stay. In the heart of the Ardèche countryside, you can choose between classic pitches, glamping tents or paillotes. There's also a small producers' store to stock up on local produce, and local restaurants on certain evenings of the week. All kinds of outdoor activities are within easy reach, from hiking and biking to canyoning and climbing.

Opening time and information on LE MOULIN DE CHARRIER
Bicycle reception. Open from May 8 to September 8. Reservations recommended. Open until 8pm (departures before noon, arrivals from 2pm). Exposure: shaded. Soil: grassy. Relief : flat. Pitch + vehicle + 2 people from €18 to €22. A family chalet and 3 "chambrette" tents (tents with a real bed inside). Catering. Grocery store in hamlet 500 m away.

Small family-run estate with gîte, campsite and inn in the Ardéchois mountains , under chestnut trees, in a lush green setting. Halfway between Aubenas and the Ardèche plateau, you'll find peace and quiet in the heart of nature, but also a friendly atmosphere. TheBesorgues river flows alongside the estate, making it a superb summer bathing spot, with waterfalls and basins in this pure, invigorating water, sure to revitalize you.
Here are our sleeping options at the campsite (spread over a total of 20 intimate pitches):
- Self-catering pitches between 10€ and 12€/person depending on the season
- Spacious cotton tents in small rooms at 45€ and 50€/night for a couple
- Fully-equipped wood and canvas hut for 2 to 6 people (kitchen, bathroom, WC, terrace, 3 small double bedrooms) weekly only in high season (450€ to 590€/week), possible for 2 nights or more in low season
Simple, friendly atmosphere. Volleyball court by the river. Petanque balls available. Ping-pong table with loan of equipment. Simple sanitary facilities , washing-up area, fridges available for campers (fridge locker €3/day) .We also have a group gîte for up to 15 people; please contact us for a quote.
You can eat in our little inn on site, where we serve local produce, mostly organic, prepared with care. Tuesday evenings are devoted towood-fired pizzas and jazz concerts, and Saturdays to musical guinguette evenings. Agood atmosphere is guaranteed, but reservations are essential . OnWednesdays and Fridays ,we serve Breton galettes, platters and local salads. We are present with our galette stand at the village night market on Thursday evenings in July and August.
We are open from mid-May to mid-September (camping and inn) and all year round for the gîte.

La rivière fraîche au pied du terrain pour les bains matinaux revigorants est juste un régal pour les amateurs.
Pas mal de ballades à faire au départ du camping.
Des marchés toute la semaine dans les villages voisins, celui de Buzet le lundi et Bise le mercredi sont très sympas.
Nous n'avons pas utilisé la restauration mais savons que tous les produits sont locaux et bio et avec une animation jazz (le mardi).
Pour finir les locaux communs (douches, WC, frigos) sont suffisants et toujours tenu en état de propreté.
Ne tenez pas compte des vieux avis des années précédentes car l'équipe n'était pas la même. 2023 semble être l'année du renouveau!
