LA FERME DU CHÂTAIGNIER

Ferme du Châtaignier is a family-run farm located in Lamastre, in the Ardèche region of France. On an area of 35 hectares, they cultivate chestnut trees, orchards and also own 100 beehives. The farm offers an online store where you can buy their chestnut specialties, such as glazed and candied chestnuts, chestnut jam and cream, as well as other products like charcuterie, pastries, honey, vegetables and compotes. To get there, take the small road on the left as you enter Lamastre from Tournon, in the direction of Gilhoc-sur-Ormèze, and follow the arrows for 5 km. This farm is an excellent option for discovering the history of chestnuts and tasting quality local products.
