Documentary film has its own lively village in the Ardèche all year round. The high point is the Rencontres, which attracts professionals and amateurs alike.
An event that moves documentary amateurs and professionals. In 2018, this festival celebrated its 30th anniversary. An international documentary film centre in a village of less than a thousand inhabitants! A challenge taken up by the association Ardèche Images, born in 1979, which has since perpetuated and professionalized a non-competitive festival recognized in the world of cinema. Four axes guide its work: the Maison du Doc, which archives thousands of films; Africadoc, support for creation in Africa; the Documentary School with writing residencies in Lussas; and of course the États généraux, a true summer university for documentaries with seminars, workshops, professional meetings... A hive! A mine!
