The Louis XIII bridge (12th century?) is located on a very important communication route, linking Baix sur le Rhône to the Montagne ardéchoise. Very damaged by the fighting at the siege of Privas in 1629, King Louis XIII had it repaired not out of generosity, but with the intention of improving all the roads leading to Privas; this of course, in order to allow his troops to pass through in the event of a revolt.
