Suspension bridge over the Rhone, built in 1858 and which was in service until 1969, at Rochemaure.
Built in 1858, this suspension bridge over the Rhône was an important passageway between the Drôme and the Ardèche. In service until 1968, it suffered two destructions during the Second World War and two major accidents, in 1937 and 1968, which led to the destruction of part of its deck. Its demolition was envisaged. The mobilization of the inhabitants saved it. Since 2013, its piers have been restored and a himalayan footbridge allows the ViaRhôna to cross the river on a structure appreciated by cyclists and pedestrians alike. A regional attraction!
