VELAY EXPRESS HISTORIC RAILWAY
Train ride from Junières to Saint-Agrève, to discover the Lignon gorges and a superb landscape.
In the tradition of the famous Mastrou, an association has revived the Velay-Lignon tourist line, part of the Vivarais railway network which once linked the Rhône to the Loire. The line closed in 1968, two sections were spared, including the line from Dunières to Saint-Agrève. Today, this tourist line takes us to the rhythm of the trains of yesteryear through a superb landscape - the Lignon gorges - up to an altitude of 1,040 m in Saint-Agrève.
