The Mastrou, a steam train powered by charcoal, took passengers to the famous Lamastre market.
Come aboard the Mastrou, the historic train that has been running along the Chemin de Fer du Vivarais line since 1891, and discover the beautiful Doux valley. This little steam train offers a ride at the pace of yesteryear, in a truly astonishing natural setting. At the time, it served all the stations on its route. Today, this line, "Le Mastrou", is very popular with tourists during the high season. It's one of the local sights well worth a visit.

Très belle expérience super voyage dans ce magnifique train au milieu des gorges.
Dommage le retour était de nuit.

L'accès est facile et le parking assez grand pour accueillir du monde. L'accueil aux caisses a été cordial et sympathique.
En attendant le départ ou au retour vous avez un petit musée a visiter également.
