In the Michel family, tradition and passion for wine have been handed down from father to son. Johann's great-grandfather, François Michel, played a major role in the creation of the famous Cornas AOC. Then it was his father who took over and restored the vineyard, which had sadly fallen into disrepair. Today, the vineyard covers around 6 hectares. Johann's vineyard is run according to the principles of sustainable viticulture, with manual harvesting, grape sorting and limited yields. His Cornas, cited and awarded at the most prestigious national competitions, is well worth a taste. 2003 and 2004 were particularly successful.
