VINS ALPHONSE ZIMMERMANN
Like many Alsatian winegrowers, the vine has all the makings of an ancestral saga for the Zimmermann family, who have maintained the art of winegrowing since 1693! His estate now extends over 17 hectares below Haut-Koenigsbourg. Intrinsically aware that patience is the cornerstone of viticulture, Jean-Pierre and his son Vincent produce quality wines from the seven Alsatian grape varieties with proven ageing potential! In the air-conditioned cellar, traditional tuns are still used, although stainless steel vats are preferred for certain vintages. AOC Alsace, Grands Crus (Gloeckelberg & Praelatenberg), Sélection de Grains Nobles, Vendanges Tardives: here is a beautiful oenological palette that promises delicious surprises to be unveiled in a venerable cellar fitted out with beautiful family furniture. In this welcoming setting, tongues are quickly loosened and the wine begins to speak as tastings are held with very interesting comments.
