Want a laugh? This festival was born in 1989, over a good bottle of Saint-Joseph. Run and developed by some sixty volunteers, it takes place over ten days in ten communes, attracting some 6,000 spectators each year. It is twinned with the Festival International du Rire de Rochefort in Belgium and the Festival d'Humour de Morges in Switzerland. Based in the Drôme region, it extends into the Ardèche and even reaches as far as Paris.
