THE GARDEN OF EDEN

This English-style country garden with its vegetable garden, its botanical wealth and its romantic statues dominates the city center and offers a magnificent panorama of the Rhône, the castle and the vineyards. Remnant of the park of the former Cordeliers and Notre-Dame convent, the site is punctuated with small bridges, towers, ponds and trees of various species. With a surface area of one hectare, the park is surrounded by ancient walls, narrow paths and a stream. Walking through the park leads to meditation and one understands that the nuns must have felt at peace there.
