Four gîtes and a small campsite with fenced pool in Saint-Germain-de-Salles.
It is a vast domain of about ten hectares, including four gites, a small campsite and open-air hotels, with safari tents and wooden chalets, open in season. Those who prefer to be pampered will stay upstairs in their beautiful house of character, in pretty rooms. All have a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Copious breakfast and dinner on the terrace, in fine weather. Local cuisine, four courses and wine included. Fenced swimming pool with deckchairs available. Swimming in the Sioule river. Gîte Le Pigeonnier, 2 bedrooms, sleeps 4
Le Pigeonnier is a charming gîte that blends the ancient with the contemporary. In winter 2016, Le Pigeonnier gîte was completely renovated and extended to accommodate families of up to 4 people. An ecological wooden extension on stilts has been added to create an extra bedroom and bathroom. Free WI-FI access. In front of the gîte you'll find garden furniture, a wooden picnic table, two wicker deckchairs and a Weber quality barbecue. On the first floor you'll find the living room. The dining area is equipped with a table for 4, a 4-burner stove, a refrigerator, a microwave oven, a coffee maker, a citrus squeezer, a blender, a kettle, etc... The adjacent living room is comfortable, with a 2-seater sofa and wicker armchair. In the wooden extension adjoining the main room, you'll find the new double bedroom, and a second bedroom with a bunk bed. Bathroom with shower, WC and washbasin. In the evening, you can sit outside on the terrace at the table d'hôtes, where you'll be served an excellent four-course menu cooked by our family. From this authentic farmhouse, renovated in 2017, you'll have a breathtaking view over the fields and the river La Sioule, at a safe distance for children. In front of La Fleurie, a pleasant, shaded terrace under an awning. Breathtaking views over the estate's fields and the river Sioule! Wooden garden furniture, 2 wicker sun loungers and a Weber quality barbecue. On the ground floor, the kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, gas hob, microwave oven, kettle, coffee maker, juicer, blender, etc... The living room is furnished with two comfortable sofas. This superb gîte, renovated in 2017, is housed in one of the authentic buildings on the estate. You'll have a magnificent view over the estate's fields and the river La Sioule, at a safe distance for children. Free WI-FI access. In front of L'Orangerie, you'll find a shaded terrace under an awning with wooden garden furniture, two wicker sun loungers and a Weber quality barbecue. On the ground floor, the kitchen is fully equipped, including dishwasher, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, coffee maker, juicer, babycooker, blender, etc... The living room is furnished with a comfortable sofa and two wicker armchairs. The gîte is also equipped with central heating (decorative fireplace). This large gîte, renovated in 2016 and 2017, facing the estate's fields and the Sioule river, is ideal for up to 12 people. In front of the gîte, you'll find a shaded terrace under an awning with wooden garden furniture, four wooden deckchairs and a Weber quality barbecue. On the first floor, there's a large country kitchen with an exterior door opening onto the terrace facing the river, at a safe distance for children. The kitchen is fully equipped with a four-burner hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge. Also on the first floor is the bathroom with a washbasin, two Italian showers and two WCs. The living room is on the second floor. It features a large table for 12 people and a comfortable sitting area. It is accessible from both the kitchen and the downstairs hallway. Upstairs, 5 bedrooms with washbasins. 2 bedrooms have double beds (160x200cm) and 3 bedrooms have twin beds (90x190cm). The 6th bedroom has a bunk bed (80x200cm) for your children. In the heart of the Auvergne wilderness, Domaine les Gandins offers three-star outdoor accommodation. For those who love camping, but also appreciate comfort, there's the safari tent from late April to mid-September. The safari tent is spacious, decorated with antiques and comfortably furnished for 2 to 6 people. From the fully equipped kitchen to the comfortable bedding and private bathroom. Ideal for families with young children! The safari tent is built on a 50m2 wooden floor with a living area of 40 m2. Outside, you'll find two chiliennes, a Weber quality BBQ and a wooden picnic table. Several water points are available close to the tents. Inside, electricity, fully equipped kitchen with 4-burner stove, refrigerator and microwave oven. Lounge area in natural materials. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and the other with a bunk bed. Een heerlijke rustige plek met veel voorzieningen voor kleine kinderen en hele lieve eigenaren. In een Gite gezeten. Prima huisje, prachtig zwembad, skelters en natuurlijk de rivier om in te plonsen. Fantastische plek!

Come for a weekend in family, from our arrival at the dandies we are welcomed curtly by the owner because we had, followed by car, the way and the sign indicating the reception. This one, request us to say hello itself, to get back to parking. Before even having seen the cottage where we were going to sleep, you had traced us with 2 times (one preceded by "I insiste' ') that the following day we must be parties before 10 hours.... charming reception. As for the cottage, in a friendly setting certainly, I can not give a touch because we were put outside by management right in the middle of the night!!!! Our fault: we can be washed for 1 minutes in the pool outside opening hours (11h-18h!)... the owner then intervened in an extremely provocative and exaggerated way. Any speech with him very quickly has shown to be useless, it continued to attack us as if we were criminals, while we had left water for a long time. It then threatened not to make our deposit for a reason to us that it "did not want it' '(without any deterioration of our part, all kinds of). He told us that he wanted to see us leaving. The story could have finished if management stays not returned to attack us at the door of our cottage 15 minutes later, creating a itself din until nonexistent. When I evoked the fact of putting a negative comment on the way in which this man speak to its guests, it threatened to be wrong our society, insulted us, even tried to fight on several occasions with men of our group! Impossible to dialogue or reason this man. We left, making the inventory at 23:30 (during which management sought to charge us extra services: sheets not used, barbecue not cleaned when we were paid for cleaning...) siestas and left at 23:45, cancelling the return of our weekend and our trips available on sundays. For over thirty years, my family and me let us trip to France, Europe and on other continents, unfortunately it is necessary to come in the 03 to Domaine des Gandins to experience this memorable adventure, lived nowhere else. We had never had with any problem, no charge kind. The way in which the managers of the dandies behaved is inadmissible, disproportionate compared to the basic events. It is intolerable to treat guests in this way, that made shame with their profession and makes the wrong to our beautiful region, we are very shocked. We are still ask us if we had a nightmare or if it is true...
