At the southern boundary of the department, on the road linking Barjac in the Gard-Pont-d'Arc, Vagnas benefits both from its remoteness with the summer turmoil in the Gorges - a small dozen kilometres - and its proximity to many tourist sites - Vallon, to the north, Orgnac to the east, Les Vans to the west. A strategic position that does not disturb the serenity of the village where we are presented with a small museum "The Time of Vagnas" tracing the life of the commune from Prehistory to this day.
