MARATHON INTERNATIONAL DES GORGES DE L'ARDÈCHE

The Marathon International des Gorges de l'Ardèche is a must for canoe and kayak enthusiasts. Every autumn, some 2,000 participants set out to conquer the fabulous Ardèche Gorges for this legendary race. The sport's greatest champions mingle with amateurs to share a sporting and convivial moment. Three events are on offer: the Marathon international des Gorges de l'Ardèche (32 km), the Challenge des Gorges de l'Ardèche (24 km) and the Ard River Paddle (24 km). Starting points are under the Salavas bridge and at the Pont d'Arc, respectively. The races finish at Saint Martin d'Ardèche, upstream from the bridge.
