An impressive arch in Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, a real natural wonder to discover.
It is by going to the banks of the Ardèche, about 5 km south-east of Vallon-Pont-d'Arc, that you can admire this wonder of nature. This 54 m high and 60 m long arch was dug by the river at least 50 000 years ago. Nicknamed the "natural gateway" to the Ardèche gorges, it is one of the most visited sites in the department. Two beaches (one before and the other after the bridge) allow you to enjoy the beauty of this exceptional site for a break, a swim or a picnic.

Faire un tour dans le village de vallon pont d'arc aussi c'est sympa. Beaucoup de restaurants et de petites boutiques de souvenirs
Arriver de bonne heure ( période estivale ) pour pouvoir se garer.
Nous l'avons aussi fait en canoë c'est impressionnant.
Ce fut mes toutes premières vacances en Ardèche et certainement pas les dernières. Quand je vois des paysages tels que celui-ci, je rêve alors de découvrir les gorges en canoe, à vélo...
