TUNNEL CAVE
Grotte des Tunnels" (Tunnels cave) next to the "Grotte des Huguenots" (Huguenots cave), with concretions and an underground river communicating with the Ardèche.
The cave is adjacent to the Huguenots cave. It can be entered through two artificial openings. Discovered in 1937, it was home to a sheepfold in the early 20th century. Today, the cave has been refurbished and is home to some extremely pure concretions, as well as an underground river that flows into the Ardèche. Tours of the cave are organized by the CESAME association in July and August. Ask them for details as soon as you feel like taking a trip down!
