MOULIN DES GORGES
André Bourdat made a little crazy to reopen the third mill of Archèche 12 years ago. A place that quickly found its clientele, whether it was olive-smugglers or consumers. Every year, nearly 300 people bring fruits to the mill, plus those of the 120 trees of André. Between three and five oils are offered in its completely renovated boutique, in green fruity and fruity fruity, from the redness of Ardèche, picholine, chasillan and agass. With state-of-the-art equipment, the mill can press 1,200 kg per hour: a capacity that does not store freshly picked olives. Another particularity: using an ecological dispenser (which requires less water), oils are richer in anti-oxidants and aromas. Another action for the environment: all waste from the mill (leftovers, etc.) shall be brought to the local distillery which processed them into olive phenols, intended for the cosmetic market.
