BASILIQUE NOTRE-DAME
Basilica of Our Lady with an Art Deco style spire of 60 m long and 35 m wide, which is the object of an annual pilgrimage.
The priory church had become too cramped for the town's growth, and the Notre-Dame basilica was built in 1934 and 1935. The spire was added twenty years later. The 60-metre-long, 35-metre-wide Art Deco basilica is attached to the former château chapel. Inside, the walls are painted pink, green or yellow. The basilica contains a 15th-century stone statue of the Virgin of Pity, which is the object of an annual pilgrimage on the Sunday following July 2.
