GLASS MUSEUM
Museum to visit to discover the glassmaking activities of our ancestors of the 17th century and the current techniques of glass.
Enter the heart of the glassmaking activities of our 17th-century ancestors, amid beech forests and fern fields. The Léon-Chabrol room showcases the work of this Vichy doctor, who reconstructed a full-scale furnace as built by glassmakers between 1662 and 1785. Upstairs, discover the Adam-de-Finance exhibition room, the first master glassmaker to settle in the area in 1660, and a vast mural fresco depicting glassworking. Videos provide an insight into current glass and crystal techniques.
