For three generations, the Hubert Lehrer workshop work to defend this arts and crafts: a work carried out in accordance with the tradition of the hands. The crystal is cut and engraved cold by removing material. A delicate work that requires extreme precision! The objects are left white (raised without colour) or can be enriched with colour enamels and gold and silver leaf. Whole colour palette to give it a contrast! On site, in the shop-workshop, expert hands "draw" on crystal or crystalline objects (glass with less lead) beautiful patterns and arabesques: vases, chandeliers, glasses ... Vincent Lehrer, the son, took over (under the name of La Cristallerie) the workshops Shops of La Clusaz and Yvoire and has even opened a new one at Riquewihr, in turn becoming a specialist on the size and crystal glass hollow. By buying these carved objects, we visit the workshop of the store when it is functioning (inquire).
