Magnificent chalet-hotel located in the heart of the resort with spacious rooms with beautiful terraces.
The magnificent chalet-hotel Le Samoyède, all in larch wood, looks great in the heart of the resort. Ideally located opposite the tourist office and a few metres from the cable car to Avoriaz, the hotel blends rustic and contemporary styles. Very comfortable, the spacious rooms decorated with burnt wood have each a typical mountain character. At the Taverne, the historic bar, you can meet for a snack on the terrace and at aperitif time to share some tapas. In the elegant decor of the excellent restaurant of the Atelier, you can enjoy the refined and inventive cuisine of the chef Alexandre Baud-Pachon. Nice address for a charming stay.

The hotel service was impeccable. We took a family room with a mezzanine floor so kids had their own space. The hotel provided ski lockers free of charge.
The restaurant was very accommodating of my family's needs with menu changes made (one pescatarian and two picky kids). The breakfast was filling with fresh pastries/cakes and omelets and the evening set menu each night was amazing. Special shout out to Emelie (restaurant manager).
The jacuzzi/sauna/steam room was much needed after a day's skiing.
The location was ideal. Walking distance to pleney and super morzine ski lifts and opposite the bus stop to catch Bus A to procleau (Avoriaz). The little square had lots of cute shops and a Christmas feel. The local restaurants had lots of evening menu offers but we didn't venture out due to us being on half board
Would definitely recommend this hotel for a break from the busy Avoriaz apres ski but close enough to have a vibe!
#handy tip. Shared transfers from geneva stop outside the hotel which saved us over 100Euro on a private taxi!!
