L'PELIO
In 6 years this pretty place became a benchmark for Morzinois and passing visitors. Here, the Savoie is omnipresent and it is sure to return home with a real small piece of it in your luggage. Like the gourmet Alps, the pretty front gives a glimpse to a mountain decor that teeters between farm and alpine chalet and invites to cross the threshold. One twists happily on the various Savoie specialties, of high-quality, recommended by managers who know how to transmit with talent their passion for fine produce. The cheeses shelf is impressive and it is with delicacy that you choose your plate of the day, while the charcuterie stands out as a real tribute to artisanal flavours. From 4pm, the guest will even have the chance to taste some specialties, accompanied by a glass of mulled wine! The address is friendly and invites you to a thorough discovery of the culinary world: Savoie terrine of pâté (nature, with homemade or truffled foie gras), ham of Savoie (dry, nature, with bone or smoked), regional sausages... And why not book your tasting kit for aperitif, the fondue, the berthoud or the Raclette in the morning? To be picked at the shop when coming back from hiking or after the sporting efforts on the snowy slopes. The wine cellar is well supplied, just like the room entirely dedicated to chocolate shop and sweets: mountain honeys, artisanal jams, fine chocolates... A very pleasant shop, warm and welcoming where you will be happy to tell the history of the organic génépi, the authentic organic vulnerary or the Chartreuse in VEP. Small trick: to save time, gift baskets and sweet and savory flavours from the Alpine terroir are also found on the online site. A safe bet and a real favourite!
