Verneuil-en-Bourbonnais, an old medieval village in the heart of the Pays de Saint-Pourçain vineyards, is a charming place with a rich heritage and bucolic atmosphere. Nestled on a mound at the bottom of a valley, the village offers visitors the chance to stroll through its streets and alleys to discover the vestiges of a historic past. Verneuil is famous for its Foire aux Puces (flea market) and has been awarded the "deux fleurs" (two-flower) classification for its blossoming. History buffs will be delighted to visit the washing and ironing museum. The village also offers numerous events and exhibitions organized by its associations. To relax, visitors can take a break at La Motte Coquet, a lovely shady square. Verneuil-en-Bourbonnais is a must for wine and heritage lovers.
