Situated just a stone's throw from the collegiate, at the end of a gentle slope, this th century building with a massive steeple dominates the course of Douzenan. Primitive primitive church built on Gallo-Roman vestiges, confiscated from the Revolution, which became barn and stable, was restored from 1965 by a handful of passionate volunteers who bought it: the Friends of the Old Verneuil. Its fresh, fresh space is home to art and crafts exhibitions, including works by Bernard Guth, the master verrier verrier, creator of the new stained glass windows of the church.
