REMAINS OF THE OLD CASTLE
Built under Louis II Bourbon, in the middle of the 25 th century, this imposing fortified site originally consisted of four square towers 9,50 metres wide and metres high, connected with each other by a cloakroom. It protects the village, included in a fortified enclosure including the former Gallo-Roman spur of La Motte Fortiori. In 1456, he was the fief of Jehan Soreau, brother of Agnès Sorel. Destroyed by a canonnade on June 17, 1465 during the war of the Public Good, it was taken and dismantled. There are only parts of the wall, witness to the importance of the fortress of then!
