A friendly, chic bistro specializing in fine butcher's cuts for two, with home fries and salad. Every day, the chef and his team prepare a variety of traditional dishes using market produce. The menu changes with the seasons. Treat yourself to curried mussels, American-style ribs, duck breast with orange vinaigrette and sweet potato purée, coq au vin à l'ancienne and fresh tagliatelle, and brioche perdu with vanilla cream and quince jelly. Exceptional spirits, house-arranged rum and a choice of beers.

Si vous voulez manger de la vraie bonne viande à la cuisson parfaite... c'est "the place to go" à vichy... petit établissement (par la taille) .. la réservation est très fortement recommandé. Une déco "vintage" (sans virer dans le kitch ou le surfait) avec vielles pancartes et affiches, des photos noires et blanc d'acteurs emblématiques.. un mobilier simple bois/metal du meilleur effet avec un beau comptoir bois et une verrière qui donne sur la cuisine ... d'où vous verrez le chef s'afferer avec son commis... une vue directe sur ce qui se prépare et inversement, le chef voit sa clientèle. Il ne manquera pas, d'ailleurs, de venir échanger quelques mots avec chaque table... un service sympathique et sans trop d'attente (alors que les plats se font au fur et à mesure) une jolie carte des vins pour arroser élégamment le repas.. et pour finir quelques liquoreux du meilleur acabit pour bien digérer le petit dessert bien goutu ????... bref, à ne pas manquer si vous voulez vous lecher les babines
