Every year since 2008, Vichy celebrates the man who made it famous: Emperor Napoleon III. For three days, thousands of visitors are immersed in the atmosphere of the Second Empire. You can attend historical re-enactments in the Parc des Sources, take part in carriage rides, guided tours or dance workshops. Within the Parc des Sources, the Impérial Parc welcomes different thematic districts (bourgeois, gourmet, military, equestrian...) with numerous animations. A puppet show and a period circus will delight children. Among the highlights of these celebrations: the great parade of 300 extras where you will see the imperial couple and their child and the Emperor's Dinner with its dishes inspired by the menus of the time and its dance demonstrations. A grand ball closes these three days of jubilation. It is the reference event for the Second Empire period.
