The Gabriel is popular in Grenoble but especially for the atmosphere of its evenings at the end of the week as for its cuisine.
Indeed, the wait is often very long already, it is quite expensive and " no fault cuts the briques" … nothing exceptional culinary level… at least considering the entrance fee, one would expect better with better quality.
Around, there a drink and enjoy yourself because it is worth the detour for that, but I don't necessarily recommend the restaurant to eat or expect to wait and receive a savory touch.

We lunched in this restaurant with my colleges: 55 minutes from waiting to have the dishes, mistake on a dish that has to leave, absence of salads accompanying however mentioned on board. My companion had ordered a sausage that it did not find good (too strong not even fresh). The chef arrived in room including a fury asking to follow in cuisine to prove the freshness of its product. It was completely incorrect in his words while it would have is enough to change dish without making history. I however a point of saying that except this, the staff is very friendly.
