In the Cantal, the Occitan culture is honoured during this storytelling festival which takes place every year in Aurillac.

The tales and the Occitan language have their own festival in the Cantal. Each year, they take place in the whole department during a big week. Professional and amateur storytellers transport the public into many different worlds. We travel, we escape, we live a moment suspended in time. Whether you know Occitan or not, the shows are accessible to everyone and adapted to be understood. Each year, a theme is proposed. In 2022, it was water. The Las Rapatonadas festival offers an interlude in the middle of the autumn season.
