AURILLAC TOWN HALL
The town hall's large reception hall is the venue for town events.
The Empire style town hall dates from the beginning of the 19th century. Its founder, Dupuy, arranged his work in such a way that the four corners indicate the cardinal points. On the facade, we can see 11 medallions with 11 busts: Racine, Corneille, Molière... Only Napoleon has resisted the wear and tear of time. The large reception room hosts the events of the city. On the walls of the main staircase are portraits of famous Aurillac residents. Renovated about ten years ago, it does not go unnoticed with its beautiful orange façade.
