NOTRE-DAME-AUX-NEIGES CHURCH
This church was built in the century on the site of the Cordeliers convent.
The church was built in the 14th century on the site of the Cordeliers' convent. Destroyed during the religious wars, it was rebuilt in the 16th century. Its bell tower dates from 1848. Its style is simple with a single nave and side chapels. From the first building only the west portal and the sacristy remain. Its name comes from the memory of the liberation of Aurillac on August 5, 1581, when the evocation of the Virgin Mary caused the snow to fall and thus repelled the Protestants.
