The Rhue flows through gorges lined with forests. It has its source in the Sancy mountains and flows into the Dordogne near Bort-les-Orgues. The site, classified Natura 2000, is the kingdom of trout, crayfish and otters. Follow the winding road D679 that connects Condat to Champs, to discover the gorges by car. The site of Bénétier, offers a shady setting for a picnic. On foot, two hiking trails crisscross the gorges (circuits available at the tourist office). You can also discover the dams which mark out it.
