DOMAINE ALAIN BAILLON
Alain Baillon's estate extends over 6.5 hectares exposed to the south and at an average altitude of 400 m, of which 3.5 hectares are more than 50 years old. The harvest is carried out in the traditional way; the harvest and sorting of the grapes is done manually in order to ensure a better quality. Alain produces two reds, La Barytine and Montplaisir, from old vines that produce millerandés grapes. Also two rosés, a very sweet, slightly sweet sweet vin de Pays d'Urfé, which makes the reputation of Ambierle rosés, and a dry rosé, a beautiful soft pink produced on specific plots that give it aromatic complexity and fullness in the mouth. Then a white wine from Pays d'Urfé, in chardonnay. Alain Baillon also offers guided tours and signposted tours.
