EGLISE SAINT-MARTIN SAINT-BLAISE
A church in Chaudes-Aigues, topped by a modest bell tower, with a stone font, a pedestal and a Way of the Cross.
In the 18th century, its name associates the cult of Saint Martin with that of Saint Blaise, patron saint of an ancient community of priests in the city. At the beginning of its existence, the church was a simple vessel topped by a modest bell tower. In the 14th century, it was extended by two chapels. It was not until the 19th century that its bell tower, destroyed during the Revolution, was rebuilt. To be admired: the stone stoup, the piéta, the enamelled lava Way of the Cross.
