HISTORICAL INTERPRETATION CENTRE OF ROMAN ART IN FOREZ
The centre of Romanesque art is located in two th century village houses at the ramparts. The permanent exhibition "Monks and Bâtisseurs builders of the year mil" Place Champdieu as gateway to ligérien tourism, serving as a starting point for discovering the major Romanesque sites of Forez ensemble. The three-level exposure has three main themes. On the ground floor, establish a priory: the network of priories novels. On the first floor, building a priory: the organisation of the construction of a rural priory, the stylistic influences, the various bodies of trades present on the medieval site. A follow-up game suite will then discover and test the techniques of medieval wooden constructions, stones, or peaks. On the second floor, a priory on a daily basis. Each part of the exhibition is based on the example of Champdieu but also broadens the talk to all the priories novels. The written speech was voluntarily reduced in favour of audiovisual explanations and installations to be manipulated. These facilities also allow for a holding with a school audience in the form of workshops. At the exhibition itself, there is a pictorial presentation in the form of a projection in a cellar of the different sites of the Priories Romanesque Romans.
