The two museums that are involved are: the Museum of Silk and the Hospital Museum. For Silk,
Visite begins with a set of advanced textile machines, most of which date from the th. Luxurious old silk dresses and samples of creations designed for Haute Couture are also presented. Part of the museum is devoted to the last Corporation of Weavers active in France; Charlieu, which organizes a unique and spectacular holiday every year with the auctioning of royal loads. To complete the visit, an audiovisual projection recounts the different stages of creating a fabric. In the old sick hall of the hotel-Dieu is presented a set of loom that works in front of the visitor: a wooden arm, mechanical craft, including a Jacquard and a high-performance contemporary loom. The Hospital Museum is located in the Hotel-Dieu where rooms dating from the th century have been reconstructed until the middle of the last century.
