The medieval alleys of this small village allow you to have a look at the towers, the old disused mill...
The village of Chavanay has retained a medieval aspect with some beautiful remains. Take a walk through the medieval streets and take a look at the towers, the old disused mill whose millstones are still visible, not forgetting the recently restored 17th century church with interesting tombstones of lords and priests. Also worth seeing: the Calvary chapel (17th-18th centuries) located on the road to Santiago de Compostela, and the Madonna of Izeras, 17 m high, overlooking a magnificent panorama.
